Series Volume
The
Montecristo Volumen Series first made its debut in 2020 with Montecristo
Volumen 1: 100 Days. Two years later came the second installment called
Montecristo Volume 2: The Rendezvous.
Both are
produced for Altadis at the Flor de Copan factory in Honduras.
Volume
1: 100 Days
The cigars
in this series were born under the inspiration of the 100 Days chapter of the
famous novel of the Count of Monte Cristo, by Andre Dumas. For that reason,
after rolling, each cigar is aged an additional 100 days in aromatic cedar
containers, giving them a smooth finish and delicious aroma.
Montecristo
Volume 1: 100 Days cigars are expertly blended by the renowned Altadis U.S.A.
Masters Group, using the finest tobaccos available, many of which are aged for
10 years.
In its
preparation, a beautiful Ecuadorian Habano wrapper is used that covers
Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers and a Nicaraguan binder. The final touch is
ornate double silver bands stretched across the sticks and then set in a cedar
box resembling The Count of Monte Cristo book.

Volume
2: The Rendezvous
Monte
Cristo Volume 2: The Rendezvous, released on the market in 2022, is a series
inspired by a chapter in the second volume of Dumas's book in which the Count
of Monte Cristo meets Albert de Morcerf, the son of his mortal enemy.
This second
installment inaugurated another chapter in the current history of cigars,
written piece by piece by the Altadis USA Master Group. The recipe features
fully aged long filler tobacco from Honduras, a broadleaf binder, and a rare
and surprising wrapper of deep golden brown 2000 Habano from Ecuador. Each
cigar is crafted to the highest standards, resulting in a medium-bodied smoke
with captivating flavors of earth, leather, cinnamon, oak, and coffee that
linger beautifully balanced until the last fragrant drag.
Montecristo
Volume II: The Rendezvous is beautifully dressed: packaged in 10-count boxes
resembling leather-bound hardcover books with shiny silver and black bands
covering nearly the entire length of each vitola.
Montecristo
Volume 2: The Rendezvous is offered in three sizes: Robusto, Toro, and
Churchill. Each size is presented in boxes of ten units and are currently on
sale in our store.
