Alec Bradley is a factory currently based in Dania beach, Florida. The person behind this prospering cigar manufacturing business line is Alan Rubin. He established the company in 1996 and named it after his children. Setting the company on its toes was quite an uphill task for Alan Rubin. The first cigars to be produced by Alec Bradley were called Bogey’s Stogies and the target market was the golfers. Another product produced later included the Occidental reserve and both were not promising in terms of profitability until the introduction of the Tempus line.

The success of the company follows the introduction of one of its most marketable products, which is the full-flavored Tempus line in 2007, hence the name Alec Bradley Tempus. Alec Bradley Tempus has succeeded in ensuring sales globally and is famous for hand-made cigars. Statistics indicate that Alec Bradley Tempus Cigars enjoy an annual sale of 2-3 million cigars and in 2011; it was ranked amongst the best 25 cigar companies in the world. According to Alan Rubin, Tempus is strong and has a more pleasing flavor. It actually marked a new beginning of full –bodied cigars for the company.

The wrapper used in rolling Tempus is obtained from a small tobacco field located at the border of Nicaragua and Honduras, hence contains the rich flavor from Honduras. The leaf is dark and leathery and is more of a hybrid of Cuban-seed--long fillers that grow in Nicaragua and Honduras. Other than the pleasing flavor component, the cigar has a long and bittersweet smoke, which enhances the taste leaving an aftertaste of wood and nuts.

The Maduro cigars are a product of the Alec Bradley Tempus cigars line. It is a result of the combination of a San Andres Maduro paper and the original Tempus. The Maduro wrapper is dark and delicious often resulting in to a full-favored and balanced smoke. A range tastes such as that of coffee, cocoa, pepper, and cedar accompanies the flavor of this cigar.

Alex Bradley Tempus Centuria Criollo Churchill is also part of this large product line and is made with tobacco obtained from Trojes region of Honduras and some from Jalapa region of Nicaragua. Usually, these cigars are rolled in the Cuban style using a triple cap finished leaf. It has a smooth smoke and possesses notes of dried fruit, chocolate, and coffee, all are very luscious.
