ACID cigars have commanded a loyal following since debuting in the market. You may have heard your smoking buddy sing praises of the brand, and the same would apply to you if you had a taste of this fine cigar. But what exactly are ACID cigars, and what are some of the best flavors?
What Are ACID Cigars?
These are a special brand of aromatic premium cigars. They're quite new in the aromatic botanic sphere but have gained a significant following with cigar connoisseurs.
Who Makes ACID Cigars?
The cigars are manufactured by Drew Estate, a company in Nicaragua formed in 1996 by Jonathan Drew and Marvin Samuel, former lawyers. The two teamed up with Scott "ACID" Chester, a New York artist, to produce the cigars. They derived the name of the cigars from Ariel Chester Industrial Design (ACID), Chester’s art studio.
ACID cigars were among the first cigars the Drew Estate manufactured. Earlier, they sourced help from Tabacalera and Nick Perdomo, with La Vieja Habana being a success at the 1997 Retail Tobacco Dealers of America (RTDA) at the World Trade Center Mall. Subsequently, the Drew Estate started its production unit in Nicaragua.
Jonathan Drew and other company members unveiled the ACID cigars at the 1999 RTDA show in Las Vegas. The Nicaraguan tobaccos instantly became a hit in the botanic cigar market. They were portrayed as luxury goods for individuals ready to conquer new fronts.
What Are the Best Types of ACID Cigars?
ACID cigars are divided into four lines, and their taste is indescribable even for die-hard fans. More than 140 herbs, oils and botanic compounds are in the cigars.
